History

Visual Kaos formed in Dec. 1998. Five friends just wanting to go out, rock and have fun. With a highly entertaining frontman and a band behind him giving every ounce of energy they had, they would achieve much more.

Within 2 years they were setting attendance and liquor sale records at every bar they played. They became known as "The Biggest Party In Town" with good reason and acheived almost celebrity like status in southeast Indiana. The band would eventually expand to the bars of southwestern Ohio. The shows at The Knotty Pine and Flicker Inn were total bashes while the shows at Club Dallas and Tavern On The Lake in Indiana were off the charts compared to what most local bands of the area were doing at the time.

In 2001 the band would put out it's first CD simply entitiled Visual Kaos (You can check out some of the songs on our Music page). They would no longer be known as just a cover band. Sales were great, the shows got bigger and VK was on the march. In 2002 they would be nominated for 'Best Metal Band in Cincinnati' at the Cammies. Although they didn't win, the exposure from local radio and papers grew things even larger. Every show the band would play would be packed, sometimes with waiting lines of +30 min. This success would continue into 2003 when too much playing, partying and personal drama would finally catch up with the band. The band continued on, but 2003-2004 would be spent with multiple line-up changes and fewer shows played. VK would finally call it quits in early 2005.

After an 8 month hiatus, the band would reform with it's original members in late 2005. This reunion would last about 1 year, when 2 members decided to go their own way and persue other interests. The 3 remaining members continued on and in May 2007 found drummer Will Eberle. This line-up lasted until August 2008 when original frontman Ted Braiser left the band. Ted has been replaced by newcomer Trey and the band continues on today.

Although VK has changed through the years. One thing has always stayed true...VK ROCKS!
